AUMI proposes three programs to solve ACTFA-related problems
(Wednesday,03/02/2010:08.00 wib)

JAKNEWS.COM---The Indonesian Medium-scale Entrepreneurs Association (AUMI) has proposed three programs and anticipatory actions to ensure the continuity of small- and medium-scale enterprises and cooperatives under the Asean-China Free Trade Agreement.

"We are optimistic the three programs can overcome the ACFTA-related problems and save small- and medium-scale enterprises and cooperatives (KUKM) business if the government implement the three proposals especially in the 100-day implementation of the ACFTA," AUMI general chairman, Ilhamy Elias said here Tuesday (2/2).

The first step is to reduce negative impacts of ACFTA against KUKM that is to map the impact of KUKM sector, he said.

The second step is to publish strategic policy and the third is the total coordination with all ministries and institutions related to the global trade policy, he added.
