JAKNEWS.COM---The government raised Rp6.73 trillion in funds from the sale of state bonds in an auction on Tuesday, a Finance Ministry official said.

The total amount of incoming bids for the four series of state bonds put to the auction was Rp22.52 trillion, Rahmat Waluyanto, the ministry’s director general of debt management, said in a statement on Tuesday (22/6).

The bonds were series SPN20110609, FR0028, FR0040, and FR0050. They were all previously offered in an auction. The bonds series SPN201110609 will mature on June 9, 2011, FR0028 on July 15, 2017, FR0040 on September 15, 2025, and FR0050 on July 15, 2038.

The government will use proceeds from the issuance of the bonds to meet part of financing target in the 2010 state budget.
