JAKNEWS.COM---Thousands of supporters of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) flocked to the Gelora Bung Karno stadium on Sunday (20/6) to celebrate the birth of Pancasila.

PDIP chairwoman Megawati Soekarnoputri is scheduled to attend and open the event.

Wearing red t-shirt, the supporters will walk around the stadium.

"We distribute 25,000 t-shirts," PDI-P secretary general Tjahjo Kumolo said.

He said the event was part of the celebration of the birth of national ideology Pancasila on June 1 and the respect to the country founding father Soekarno, Megawati's father.
